It's hard to make a design both good and cheap when working with the most economical housing. This house shows real skill from the designer-stock parts on one hand, and their clever, efficient use on the other.

Here: stained wood in cheap grades, with paint kept to a minimum on the rest of the walls.3
The fence is clad with planks on both sides, giving it a nice, substantial thickness. The posts are also hidden-no posts means no cost to finish them.4
The wooden steps at the main entrance are unpainted, so they can wear down without needing to be repainted.5
The budget went to the panoramic windows on the first floor-a very smart priority. Good views and light are enjoyed every day and have a big effect on the mood of the house.6
You can tell the budget was tight even in the landscaping. Paving is used only where it's needed, but they still took the trouble to vary the forms and surfaces.Facade #7642 from Archi.Capital base.
