Elegant Art Nouveau façade with floral motifs and filigree details

#967. Elegant Art Nouveau façade with floral motifs and filigree details

The façade of this building represents a magnificent example of Art Nouveau architecture with rich decorative elements. The upper part of the façade is crowned with an exquisite rounded pediment featuring undulating contours and floral ornamentation. The central part of the composition is adorned with a lush bas-relief of plant motifs, which is a distinctive feature of the Art Nouveau style.

On both sides of the central element, there are oval window openings with intricate metal grilles through which the bright blue sky is visible. This creates an effect of airiness and lightness in the structure. Below the decorative pediment, three symmetrical windows with wooden shutters are framed with delicate stucco work.

The balcony with its elegant wrought iron railing emphasizes the horizontal line of the façade and creates an additional architectural accent. Ornamental motifs on the façade are predominantly represented by plant forms – scrolls, leaves, and floral compositions, which is characteristic of the Art Nouveau style of the early 20th century. The light tone of the façade effectively contrasts with the deep shadows in the relief elements, highlighting the plasticity and expressiveness of the architectural composition.
