The house is a clear precursor to the prairie style. The first floor has already been consumed by transformation.

The design scheme is built on contrasts. It is interesting that the bollards are dark and the railing posts are light - a rare trick.3
High bollards form the front entrance, a simple and efficient solution. It also allowed for a single horizontal line along the level of the fence.4
