A cool trick is to cover the glass lantern on the roof with slats. Such a lattice, on the one hand, masks the windows from the outside. On the other hand, it attenuates unnecessary sunlight inside. It looks harmonious and modern.2
A thatched roof goes well with a wooden roof.3
