The roof's small, highly ornate overhangs keep it tidy. Its color is more muted than the walls'-the most neutral shade was chosen.

Rare here, but in England a noble, even classic pairing: blue and brick. White is the third, refreshing color, used on the bay window and the brick trim.

There's no tall plinth, and it isn't emphasized in any way.
