The outer shell of the house acts as a filter. Perforated panels and wooden screens perform several functions at the same time:
create a play of light and shadow indoors,
provide natural ventilation and
protect against direct sunlight.2
Concrete, wood, stone and metal are combined in a calibrated composition. It is particularly interesting how the architects work with contrasts:
the rough texture of concrete and the smoothness of glass/
the warmth of wood and the coldness of metal
the massiveness of load-bearing structures and the lightness of partitions.3
Integration of nature into architecture. The boundary between interior and exterior is deliberately blurred.
