On the walls we see a very modern architectural approach that doesn't add separate "ornamental" elements, as classical architecture does. It's purely organic shaping, where only the form changes while the material and color stay the same. More interesting still, the wall plane is enriched by a purely facade finish, in this case wood planks. There was no need to shape the concrete in advance; it was all done with a framework and a subframe. So you can take an ordinary flat wall and add texture to it with the finish. It's also worth noting that this solution costs little more than a smooth wall clad in planken.2
The boards run vertically in a regular pattern, like pencil shading, forming alternating rows of different widths.3
Here the architecture meets its surroundings beautifully. The faded walls echo the wind-swept grasses perfectly. It's a beautiful modernist haystack.4
Rows of retaining walls made of rusted metal panels blend in wonderfully with the grasses.
