Proof that you can change the style of any house. The Victorian style is very vivid and interesting; it would hardly occur to us to alter such a house. But there are regions where houses like this are everywhere.

In renovations, Victorian houses are usually painted in acid colors, making them gaudy and garish. Here they took a different approach, with a large-scale contrasting pattern. Sometimes you need a very bold accent to break a tired motif.3
The steps and frieze were painted black. Dark tile was probably used for the steps on the plinth and the bollards. Dark steps need constant cleaning so they don't turn gray.Facade #3347 from Archi.Capital base.
