Review :
Romanesque style is the triumph of the arch. Back when buildings were made of stone, an opening could only be arched.

Along Italy's Mediterranean coast, everything is steeped in sunlight. That's why all those deep, pedigreed reds feel inevitable: the tile, the stone, the wood, the plaster. Even the soil is red here.

A shallow roof overhang is another hallmark of the style.

You can tell it's a fake by the windows. They should be fine wood, painted a warm tone. Instead we see spandrels and white frames tucked inside the glass pane.
