#6706. Two-tone Colonial Revival mansion facade with brick base and dormer windows

Before us stands an impressive two-story mansion from the early 20th century, executed in American Colonial Revival style with neoclassical elements. The facade demonstrates a characteristic combination of materials from this period: the lower floor is faced with dark red brick, while the upper section features a lighter stucco finish with decorative wooden elements.

Special expressiveness is added to the facade by an elegant central portico with columns, crowned by a small canopy. The rich burgundy entrance door is framed by decorative stained glass inserts and classical pilasters. The symmetrical arrangement of windows with period-appropriate grilles on the first floor emphasizes the prestigious nature of the building.

The roof has a complex pitched form with expressive dormer windows designed in a unified style with the main facade. A wide cornice with decorative brackets creates deep shadows that visually lighten the upper part of the building. The brick chimney complements the classical composition.

The landscaping also deserves attention — a well-maintained lawn and a wide staircase with several flights leading to the main entrance create an impression of respectability and solidity characteristic of affluent American homes from the beginning of the last century.
