Eclectic Facade of an Urban Mansion with Rich Stucco Work and Central Tower

#5045. Eclectic Facade of an Urban Mansion with Rich Stucco Work and Central Tower

The photograph showcases a luxurious facade of a historic building executed in an eclectic style with elements of Neo-Baroque and Neo-Renaissance. This architectural masterpiece is distinguished by its rich decorative finish and meticulous attention to detail.

The facade features a symmetrical composition with an expressive central projection crowned by a small tower with a spire and a round clock, which gives the building a special monumentality. Above the central part of the facade is a richly decorated pediment with a semicircular window.

Of particular interest is the exquisite stucco work covering the entire surface of the facade. Here one can observe a variety of decorative elements: cornices with modillions, window casings with mascarons and floral ornaments, medallions, pilasters, and friezes with intricate geometric and plant patterns.

The windows of the first and second floors have different shapes and frames. The central windows of the second floor are united in an impressive three-part composition with arched completion, creating a rhythmic dominant in the center of the facade. A balcony with openwork railing adds lightness and elegance to the composition.

The color scheme of the facade is built on nuances of sand and beige tones, which allows all architectural details to be clearly visible. The richness of decoration and masterful execution suggest that the building likely dates back to the late 19th or early 20th century and represents a striking example of urban palace architecture from that period.
