#4972. Historic facade with decorative sunflower painting in folk style

The image shows a fragment of a historical facade with decorative painting in Art Nouveau or folk art style. The central element of the composition is an artistic depiction of a sunflower with green leaves, painted on light plaster between two window openings. The painting is executed in natural tones - golden, green, and brown, with clear contours characteristic of folk art.

The architectural framing of the windows includes carefully crafted terracotta or ochre window surrounds with decorative elements. Above the windows are cornices with a dentil ornament, and small carved details can be seen at the edges. The windows themselves have traditional sectioning with light curtains inside.

The lower part of the facade is adorned with a horizontal ornamental frieze featuring a repeating geometric pattern, and another floral motif can be noticed in the lower corner of the image. This approach to facade decoration is typical of Central European architecture from the late 19th to early 20th century, when folk motifs were actively incorporated into urban architecture.
