Elegant façade of Hotel Central: an Art Nouveau masterpiece with natural motifs

#4428. Elegant façade of Hotel Central: an Art Nouveau masterpiece with natural motifs

The façade of Hotel Central is a magnificent example of Art Nouveau architecture. The façade is executed in subdued olive-green tones with elements of pink in the upper part of the building. Particular attention is drawn to the exquisite decor: symmetrical bas-relief images of stylized trees, which organically frame the central windows and create the impression that nature is integrated into the architecture.

The windows of the building have a characteristic Art Nouveau form with rounded corners. The central part of the façade is highlighted by an elegant bay window with semicircular windows, crowned with a decorative cornice. The name "HOTEL CENTRAL" is executed in Art Nouveau style using gilded letters on a decorative sign, which emphasizes the status of the establishment.

The façade is rich in subtle architectural details: elegant floral ornaments, decorative cornices, relief elements in the form of floral motifs. Especially noteworthy is the work with textures – the smooth lines of reliefs create a play of light and shadow on the surface of the walls. The color scheme of the façade, a combination of soft green with accents of gold and pink, reflects the aesthetics of the turn of the 19th-20th centuries, when natural forms and lines became a source of inspiration for architects.
