Elegant Brick Facade: Symmetry and Neoclassical Charm

#3972. Elegant Brick Facade: Symmetry and Neoclassical Charm

This elegant mansion exemplifies a superb specimen of neoclassical architecture with elements of French chateau style. The two-story house is constructed from light-colored brick in a sandy-pinkish hue, giving the facade a warm, noble glow. The hipped roof, covered with dark shingles, creates an expressive contrast with the main wall material.

The facade features strict symmetry and a prominent central projection with a tall two-story window culminating in an arch. Of particular note is the round rose window above the entrance group – a classical element that lends sophistication to the facade. The main entrance is framed by an arched portal made of the same brick, while the massive wooden door emphasizes the building's status.

The window openings on the first and second floors are designed differently: the lower ones are rectangular with classical proportions, while the upper ones feature arched tops, creating a rhythmic composition and visually lightening the upper part of the facade. A notable characteristic is the alternation of single and double windows.

The landscaping in front of the house is executed in a formal style with symmetrical brick pathways, neatly trimmed hedges, and coniferous accents, which perfectly complements the architectural style of the building and emphasizes its imposing presence.
