Before us is a magnificent example of Hungarian Secession architecture (a variety of Art Nouveau), distinguished by rich ornamentation and vibrant colors. The building features a characteristic yellow facade with a terracotta tile roof, creating a striking contrast.
The facade is adorned with exquisite stucco work and decorative elements with a predominance of flowing, organic lines. Particularly eye-catching are the three gables with wave-like contours, decorated with green metallic elements and reddish rosettes. The central gable is larger and more expressive, creating a symmetrical yet dynamic composition.
The window openings have a form characteristic of Art Nouveau — semi-circular and oval windows with elegant frames, outlined by white decorative elements. Especially noteworthy are the round rosette windows on the gables, giving the building a festive, celebratory appearance.
Decorative green metal elements are installed on the roof, including an elegant lattice between two small towers, completing the vertical composition of the building. The white balustrade of the balcony adds lightness to the facade and emphasizes the horizontal articulation.
The color scheme of the facade — soft yellow with white, green, and red accents — is characteristic of early 20th century Art Nouveau architecture and creates a joyful, life-affirming mood inherent to this style.
