Elegant Art Nouveau corner balcony with Y-shaped window on stone facade

#16296. Elegant Art Nouveau corner balcony with Y-shaped window on stone facade

Before us is a magnificent example of Art Nouveau architecture — a characteristic corner balcony with elegant curved lines and decorative elements. Of particular note is the unique Y-shaped or stylized horseshoe window, framed with contrasting colored brickwork.

The building's facade demonstrates a combination of functionality and aesthetics typical of early 20th century Art Nouveau. The light-colored stonework serves as a background for expressive architectural details. The wrought iron balcony railing with geometric pattern emphasizes the curved shape of the protruding structure, creating a sense of lightness despite the massive stone base.

The window construction is of particular interest: glass panels divided by wooden or metal frames in a turquoise shade, creating a pleasant contrast with the stone facade. The window's framing with burgundy brick accentuates this architectural element, giving it even greater expressiveness.

For modern home design, one could borrow some elements of this style: contrasting framing of window openings, the use of wrought iron elements for balcony railings, and smooth curved forms of architectural projections. Even small Art Nouveau details can give a house facade individuality and sophistication.
