Elegant Art Nouveau: Cream Facade with Decorative Modernist Panels

#969. Elegant Art Nouveau: Cream Facade with Decorative Modernist Panels

This is a magnificent example of Art Nouveau or Modernist architecture with elements of Mediterranean aesthetics. The building's facade is executed in a delicate sand-cream color with expressive decorative elements.

Compositionally, the facade is divided into three parts, with a protruding central section that creates classical symmetry. The upper part is adorned with elegant ornamental panels featuring fluid lines and geometric elements in the form of circles, characteristic of Art Nouveau. Particularly expressive is the tall central decorative panel with its curvilinear pattern.

The lower tier is framed by three French windows with green shutters, transitioning into elegant metal balconies with delicate Art Nouveau-style ironwork. The geometric motifs continue in the lower part of the building in the form of decorative friezes.

Architectural details of the facade, such as protruding cornices, elegant pilasters, and decorative consoles, emphasize the vertical composition, giving the building a refined silhouette. The combination of straight lines in structural elements with flowing organic forms in the decoration deserves special attention — a signature feature of the Art Nouveau style.

The composition is completed by a small terrace on the upper level with metal railings, which serves as both a functional element and gives the building a finished appearance.
