Before us is a modern two-story residential house with an expressive facade that combines several materials and architectural techniques. The central part of the facade is made of light gray stone masonry, which creates an accent vertical axis, emphasizing the entrance to the building. On both sides of this central part are sections with wooden or wood-like horizontal cladding in a warm brown shade.
The lower part of the facade is finished with darker brickwork, creating a visual foundation for the entire composition. The flat roof with protruding cornices gives the building a contemporary look in the Prairie style or a modern interpretation of modernism. Large windows with horizontal divisions provide good natural lighting and support the overall geometric rigor of the design.
The entrance to the house is decorated with double doors with glass inserts and a small canopy, accessed by a concrete staircase. On the right is a garage with sectional doors, harmoniously integrated into the general composition of the facade.
When designing your own facade, you can adopt techniques such as contrasting combinations of materials (stone, wood, brick), highlighting the central axis of the building with a different material, using horizontal lines in the design of windows and cladding to give the house a modern look, as well as integrating functional elements (garage) into the overall architectural composition.
