Ecological Minimalism: Wooden Slat Facade with Dynamic Geometry

#7520. Ecological Minimalism: Wooden Slat Facade with Dynamic Geometry

Before us is a modern three-story residential house designed in the style of ecological minimalism. The facade is clad with horizontal light brown wooden slats, creating a rhythmic texture across the entire surface. Of particular interest is the contrast between the main gray-brown cladding and warm wooden accents, especially noticeable on the second floor.

The facade features clear geometry and functionality. The second floor has original window openings with operable wooden louvered shutters, which serve not only to regulate lighting but also as an expressive architectural element. The upper floor has a cantilevered projection with a terrace, emphasized by wooden ceiling finishes, which creates a visual accent and gives the building a dynamic silhouette.

The ground floor is maximally open thanks to panoramic glazing that blurs the boundary between the interior space and the adjacent territory. Large sliding glass doors lead to a small lawn with garden furniture, highlighting the architect's desire to create a smooth transition between the house and nature. The landscape design of the plot with elements of wild greenery and stone backfill complements the ecological image of the building.

The overall color scheme of the facade is built on the interplay of natural wood tones and restrained gray hues, allowing the building to harmoniously blend into the surrounding development while maintaining its individuality. The evening lighting shining through the large windows adds special warmth and expressiveness to the entire composition.
