Before us is an exquisite example of Art Nouveau in residential architecture. The facade is constructed from light-colored stone with the characteristic plasticity of forms typical for this style. Of particular note are the gently curved window openings with their extraordinary glazing geometry, where straight lines of wooden frames contrast with smooth arched completions.
The light pistachio-colored window frames and shutters give the facade elegance and lightness, softening the monumentality of the stonework. The central window-door has a traditional French construction with fine glazing divisions and a miniature metal railing. On the sides are windows with an asymmetrical frame pattern characteristic of Art Nouveau – smooth curved lines are integrated into a rectangular grid, creating a dynamic composition.
The facade also features a decorative sculptural element resembling an atlas or caryatid (on the left), which was typical for wealthy urban houses of the Art Nouveau period. The condition of the facade indicates the historical value of the building – visible traces of time add a special charm to this architectural monument.
