Before us stands an excellent example of early 20th-century Art Nouveau architecture, as evidenced by the date "1906" engraved in the central decorative shield of the facade. The building houses a museum, as indicated by the "MUSEO" plaque at the entrance, and demonstrates characteristic features of Catalan Modernism.
The facade skillfully combines reddish brickwork with elements of light-colored stone, creating a striking contrast of textures and colors. The central part of the facade is highlighted by a decorative pediment with an ornamental shield bearing the construction date. The symmetrical composition is emphasized by four tall second-floor windows with exquisite stained glass, framed in light stone.
Particularly noteworthy is the main entrance — an arched door in a blue-green hue with decorative carvings typical of the Art Nouveau style. On both sides of the entrance are decorative columns with elegant globe lamps that harmoniously fit into the overall aesthetic of the building.
The composition is completed by a balustrade at the top of the facade and an elegant wrought-iron fence with gates in front of the entrance, demonstrating the flowing, organic lines so characteristic of Art Nouveau. The curved forms of the metal elements echo the wavy lines of the architectural decor, creating a unified artistic image.
