Elegant Art Nouveau facade with mansard roof and wrought iron balconies

#7282. Elegant Art Nouveau facade with mansard roof and wrought iron balconies

Before us is an excellent example of urban architecture in the Art Nouveau style from the early 20th century. The building's facade features an elegant composition with characteristic asymmetry in the arrangement of elements. Particularly expressive is the central axis of the building with vertical pilasters unifying the first and second floors, creating a sense of upward aspiration.

The mansard roof with distinctive dormer windows (lucarne) is executed in the traditions of French architecture and covered with gray slate. The window openings of the upper floor have curved outlines typical for Art Nouveau, while the central window is emphasized by a sophisticated bay window projection.

The balconies of the second floor are adorned with wrought iron openwork railings featuring flowing plant motifs, which is a signature characteristic of the Art Nouveau style. Special picturesqueness is added to the facade by flower compositions in balcony boxes, adding bright accents against the background of light-colored plaster.

The lower level of the building is executed in a more restrained manner with rhythmic placement of windows. The main entrance is positioned asymmetrically on the right and highlighted by a decorative portal. The color scheme of the facade is built on delicate pastel tones, which is characteristic of European urban development of this period.

At the base of the house, there is a small front garden with wrought iron fencing that echoes the style of the balcony railings, creating a coherent architectural ensemble.
