Classic Dutch Brick Facade with Arched Windows and Decorative Bas-Reliefs

#7155. Classic Dutch Brick Facade with Arched Windows and Decorative Bas-Reliefs

Before us stands an excellent example of traditional Dutch architecture with its characteristic brick facade. This two-story building is executed in a classical manner with symmetrical composition, lending it grandeur and status. The main facade material is red-orange brick, laid with white horizontal accents, creating a rhythmic pattern across the surface.

The arched elements above the windows deserve special attention. On the second floor, three large arched windows with white decorative inserts create lightness and airiness in the upper part of the building facade. The first floor is adorned with more complex decorative elements — bas-reliefs with molded medallions above the windows and central door, indicating the status and historical significance of the structure.

The building is crowned with a triangular roof featuring characteristic tiles and a dormer window, typical of Dutch architecture. The symmetry of the facade is emphasized by the central entrance with double black doors and large windows on both sides. Decorative planters with greenery at the entrance add coziness to the building and highlight the well-maintained nature of this historical object.

When designing a modern house, several techniques can be borrowed from this specimen: symmetrical arrangement of window openings, decorative arches above windows, contrasting color schemes in brickwork, and stylized bas-reliefs to give individuality and character to the building.
