A magnificent example of Art Nouveau architecture with rich decorative facade elements. The building showcases the characteristic flowing, fluid lines and organic forms typical of this style, especially noticeable in the curved window openings of the upper floor. The facade is adorned with exquisite stucco featuring botanical and geometric motifs, which is a signature feature of Art Nouveau.
The upper part of the building is crowned with a decorative cornice with ornamental elements and sculptural inserts. Particularly noteworthy are the three arched windows in the central part of the upper floor, framed with elaborate decor that creates a rhythmic composition. Below them is an elegant balcony with a metal railing of geometric design, typical of early 20th century Art Nouveau.
The lower floor features an asymmetrical wide oval-shaped window with a graceful balcony. The metal railings of the balconies are executed in a manner characteristic of Art Nouveau – with flowing lines and decorative elements. The entire architectural composition creates an impression of lightness and elegance, despite the massiveness of the building. The light tone of the facade effectively highlights the relief details, creating an interplay of light and shadow.
