Victorian Mansion with Multi-Level Facade and Belvedere

#6724. Victorian Mansion with Multi-Level Facade and Belvedere

This mansion presents an excellent example of eclectic architecture from the early 20th century with predominant Victorian style elements. The building's facade is notable for its multi-level volumes and complex roof composition, covered with characteristic terracotta tiles. Particularly striking is the belvedere tower with an elegant dome at the top of the structure, giving the house a romantic, almost fairy-tale appearance.

The architectural value of the facade is emphasized by a thoughtful combination of materials: a stone foundation transitions into dark wooden cladding on the upper floors, while white columns of the covered veranda create an expressive contrast. The stepped composition of the front of the house with a wide porch and red steps demonstrates the architect's attention to entrance group details. The circular veranda on the first floor with classical white columns wraps around the facade, creating a transitional space between interior and exterior.

Adjacent to the main historical volume is a more modern extension with a horizontal composition and large windows, creating an interesting juxtaposition of historical and contemporary. The surrounding landscape with a well-maintained lawn and brick pathways organically complements the architectural ensemble, emphasizing its status as a country residence.
