Before us stands a magnificent example of traditional Russian wooden architecture — a log house with a richly decorated facade. The structure is a two-story timber frame with a high gabled roof, executed in the style of a Russian terem (traditional upper-story dwelling).
The facade of the house demonstrates characteristic features of Russian wooden architecture. Particularly impressive is the openwork carving adorning the cornices, pediment, and window frames. The upper part of the pediment is crowned with a decorative spire and decorated with skilled fretwork, creating a lace-like effect. Along the edges of the roof are carved valances that emphasize the silhouette of the building.
The facade is divided into two tiers. On the first floor is the central entrance with a wooden door decorated with carvings and a floral wreath. The windows of the first floor are framed with wooden casings featuring decorative elements in the upper part. The second floor is distinguished by three large windows with carved frames and wooden shutters in a honey shade, which contrast with the dark color of the log walls.
The balconies deserve special attention: the upper one with wooden balusters and the lower one with intricate carvings beneath it. Numerous decorative elements, such as floral motifs, geometric patterns, and hanging ornaments, create an impression of festivity and abundance. Under the windows and on the porch are flower arrangements, adding picturesqueness to the overall appearance.
This building represents an excellent example of preservation and demonstration of traditional Russian wooden architecture with its characteristic lavishness of decor and attention to detail.
