#6398. Prairie Style Horizontal Facade: Light Brick, Abundant Glazing and Harmony with Nature

The presented building showcases an exquisite example of a modern interpretation of Prairie School architecture with distinct influences from Frank Lloyd Wright's work. The facade is characterized by horizontal lines and expressive roof overhangs, creating a sense of harmony with the surrounding landscape.

The two-story structure is clad in light beige brick that gives the building both solidity and lightness. The facade is symmetrically organized with a central brick projection housing chimneys that visually divides the building into two parts. Extensive glazing with a characteristic geometric pattern of window frames creates a dialogue between interior and exterior spaces.

The entrance area deserves special attention with its wide staircase leading to the central entrance. Decorative planters with vibrant flowers are positioned on both sides of the stairs, adding accents to the restrained color palette of the facade. The architectural composition is complemented by landscape design – ornamental grasses that frame the facade, emphasizing its horizontal lines and creating a transition to the surrounding natural environment.

The facade demonstrates a fine balance between functionality and aesthetics, where each element has its purpose, and the overall composition creates an impression of calm grandeur and harmony with nature.
