#6153. Blue Floral Facade: Carved Art Nouveau Doors with Botanical Ornament

Before us is a magnificent example of decorative door design in the Art Nouveau style. The wooden double doors are painted in a soft blue color, creating an elegant and calm background for the artistic composition. Each door is divided into three panels, decorated with symmetrical floral ornaments.

The upper panels are adorned with three stylized flowers with white petals, resembling poppies or anemones, with strict vertical stems. The central, larger panels display a composition of large carved leaves (possibly acanthus) in a greenish hue, from which pairs of white flowers grow. The lower panels complete the composition, repeating the motif of white flowers but in a more laconic execution, with heart-shaped elements at the base.

Of particular interest is the antique door hardware—an elegant handle with patina that emphasizes the age and authenticity of this architectural element. The wood texture shows through the paint, creating an aged surface effect and giving the doors a special charm.

The ornamental scheme of the doors reflects the influence of European Art Nouveau from the early 20th century, where natural motifs are stylized and integrated into a clear geometric structure. This is an excellent example of artistic woodwork that combines functionality with high aesthetic qualities.
