Gothic façade with carved wooden door and arched stone portal

#6087. Gothic façade with carved wooden door and arched stone portal

The image showcases a magnificent Gothic-style entrance door made of dark wood with rich carvings. The door is set within an arched opening, framed by white stone elements that create a classic Gothic portal.

The door itself is double-leafed with a symmetrical design. Each leaf is adorned with four pointed arches in the lower section, while the upper portion is decorated with geometric patterns including diagonal elements. Metal ring handles of traditional design are mounted on the door leaves.

Above the door sits an exquisite transom with stained glass, divided by wooden muntins into several sections. The main motif features a central circle from which arched elements radiate, forming a classic Gothic pattern. Below the transom runs a carved wooden frieze with a repeating ornament.

The stone framing of the entrance deserves special attention – white ribbed columns with capitals support a multi-layered arched vault. A wrought iron lantern in medieval style hangs above the door, complementing the overall historical atmosphere of the façade.
