#6055. Turquoise Art Nouveau Facade with Decorative Floral Panel

The photograph captures a magnificent example of architectural synthesis characteristic of the Art Nouveau period from the early 20th century. The main element of the composition is an exquisite turquoise door with rich decorative elements. The door panel is designed in classical proportions with embossed panels and elegant ornamental appliqués.

Of particular note is the wrought iron grille in the upper part of the door, displaying the fluid, flowing lines typical of Art Nouveau. The intricate metal pattern creates an effect of lightness and airiness while simultaneously providing security and allowing natural light to pass through. The door is adorned with decorative metal elements, including a central rosette and corner fixtures, which emphasize its status.

The true gem of this facade is the stunning ceramic panel to the left of the door, executed in majolica technique. It depicts lush flowers and green foliage, creating a vibrant contrast with the turquoise color of the door. The lower part of the panel concludes with a decorative element in the form of a stylized fan in dark red tones, adding sophistication and completeness to the composition.

This fragment of the facade demonstrates the Art Nouveau movement's characteristic aspiration to organically combine functional elements with natural motifs, creating a unified, harmonious ensemble where each detail is carefully considered and impeccably executed.
