#6019. Eclectic Art Nouveau Facade with Peacock Mosaic

The presented facade fragment showcases an exquisite example of decorative applied art in architecture. The central element of the composition is a semicircular tympanum adorned with a mosaic image of a peacock with its tail spread in turquoise-green tones. This element brings special refinement and decorative quality to the structure.

The frieze below the tympanum is decorated with ornamental motifs featuring floral elements in a blue-green palette, creating a smooth transition and harmonious combination with the central image. On both sides of the central part are symmetrical dormer windows with triangular tops, giving the composition a sense of balance.

The lower part of the facade is adorned with decorative panels featuring curved plant elements in a style close to Art Nouveau. Below them, an arched window is visible, which echoes the semicircular shape of the tympanum, creating a vertical axis for the composition. Such rich decorative design using ceramic tiles or mosaics is characteristic of eclectic architecture with elements of Art Nouveau and Eastern motifs.
