Art Deco Brick Facade with Geometric Ornaments

#5942. Art Deco Brick Facade with Geometric Ornaments

This is a remarkable example of an Art Deco style building with an expressive brick facade. The architectural composition features clear symmetry and vertical articulation, emphasized by tall brick pylons that extend above the roofline.

The upper part of the facade is adorned with a decorative element in the form of a zigzag ornament, executed in light-colored material against the brick background. This geometric motif, resembling a stylized chevron, is a characteristic feature of the Art Deco style.

The middle level of the building is designed with large windows with multi-sectional glazing, providing good natural lighting to the interior spaces. The lower part of the facade features an interesting stepped composition of the entrance group, framed by decorative panels with rounded patterns, also typical for Art Deco.

The contrast between the reddish-brown brick of the main wall surface and the light decorative elements creates an expressive interplay of textures and shades, emphasizing the architectural concept of the building. Such a combination of materials was popular in the architecture of the 1920s-30s and now appears as a beautifully preserved example of its era.
