Art Nouveau Facade with Vertical Stained-Glass Accent

#5941. Art Nouveau Facade with Vertical Stained-Glass Accent

The presented facade showcases an excellent example of early 20th century architecture with elements of Art Nouveau and Neoclassicism. The central part of the building is accentuated by a vertical composition — a striking risalit with a tall stained-glass window, framed by an elegant stone portal. The green ceramic tiles contrast with the beige stone of the facade, creating an expressive color scheme.

The upper part of the facade is crowned with an elegant pediment featuring rich decorative ornamentation: floral patterns, stucco work, and the flowing lines characteristic of Art Nouveau. Window openings of various configurations are rhythmically arranged across the facade, while the elongated central window with its fine glazing reflects the sky, adding lightness to the monumental composition.

The architectural solution demonstrates a meticulous approach to details: refined cornices, a balustrade beneath the central window, and decorative elements above the side windows. Functional elements, such as downpipes, are harmoniously integrated into the overall design. This is an excellent example of urban architecture that combines representational quality with elegance of form and careful attention to decorative elements.
