Victorian Mansion with Red Brick Façade and Decorative Elements

#5529. Victorian Mansion with Red Brick Façade and Decorative Elements

This impressive red brick building is an excellent example of late 19th century Victorian architecture. The three-story structure with a mansard roof displays characteristic features of the Neo-Romanesque style with Queen Anne elements. The symmetrical façade is adorned with decorative brick cornices and protruding elements.

Particular attention is drawn to the rich architectural decor: dentiled cornices, triangular pediments on the roof, and elegant window frames. The corner bay window with a dome-shaped top adds expressiveness and asymmetry to the building. The central entrance is emphasized by an arched portal and a small porch with stone steps.

The first floor is encircled by a rusticated stone foundation that creates a visual contrast with the brickwork of the upper floors. Large window openings with wooden frames preserve the historical appearance, while the sharp gables and pointed roof elements add Gothic notes to the building's silhouette. The metal fence around the small front garden complements the historical atmosphere of this urban mansion.
