Victorian Brick Mansion with Distinctive Mansard Roof Façade

#5416. Victorian Brick Mansion with Distinctive Mansard Roof Façade

The building presented in the image is an excellent example of historic brick architecture in a style close to Victorian. The façade is made of red brick with detailing characteristic of the late 19th century. Particularly notable is the mansard roof with decorative dormer windows that give the building its recognizable silhouette.

The volumetric-spatial composition includes expressive bay windows that form the plasticity of the main façade. The windows of the first and second floors have a rectangular shape, while the mansard windows are adorned with triangular pediments, creating a rhythmic architectural accent in the upper part of the building.

The façade demonstrates careful attention to detail: a protruding cornice with decorative brackets under the roof, clear horizontal articulation between floors, and well-preserved brickwork. The entrance to the building is accentuated by a small canopy and highlighted compositionally. Potted plants are placed in front of the entrance, creating a cozy atmosphere.

Currently, based on its appearance, the building functions as a small hotel or guest house, as evidenced by the information stand at the entrance and the equipped recreation area with an umbrella. The architectural appearance of the building has been carefully preserved, making it a valuable element of the historic development.
