Neo-Renaissance Brick Façade with Elaborate Stone Ornamentation

#5033. Neo-Renaissance Brick Façade with Elaborate Stone Ornamentation

Before us is an expressive example of a brick façade in Neo-Renaissance style with rich decorative framing around the window openings. The building captures attention through the contrast between the red-orange texture of the brickwork and the light-colored stone elements of architectural decoration.

Particularly noteworthy are two windows framed by exquisite stone portals. The upper window is adorned with a balustrade featuring wrought iron elements and decorative volutes on the sides. The lower window is flanked by two elegant columns with capitals, and below it sits a row of ornamental rosettes.

Crowning the façade composition is an impressive heraldic element with wings, positioned above the upper window. This lends the building a certain monumentality and historical significance. All stone decoration is executed with great attention to detail, demonstrating the high mastery of stone carving characteristic of the historicism period in architecture.

Such a façade is typical for prestigious urban mansions of the late 19th - early 20th century, when rich façade decoration served as a symbol of the building owner's status.

We design facades of country houses.
