#4940. Musical Facade: Brick Building with Keyboard Ornament and Decorative Panels

This facade presents a remarkable example of brick architecture with decorative elements characteristic of Art Nouveau or early Art Deco style. The building is faced with red brick featuring expressive masonry that creates a distinct rhythmic pattern.

Particularly noteworthy are the semicircular arched ornaments above the upper windows, decorated with contrasting alternating light and dark elements resembling piano keys. This keyboard motif is repeated in the framing of the lower openings, creating a cohesive facade composition.

Between the floors are decorative panels with floral motifs and stylized birds in soft green tones. The arched inserts above the upper floor windows are adorned with similar ornamentation, which adds elegance and artistic value to the facade.

The window openings of the upper floor have various curtain and blind arrangements, indicating the residential nature of these spaces, while the lower openings likely serve as entrances to commercial premises. Contrasting white horizontal lines crossing the brickwork further structure the composition and emphasize the geometry of the facade.
