#4564. Amber Facade: An Elegant Example of Art Deco with Sunburst Relief

Before us stands a magnificent example of Art Deco architecture. The facade is clad in light-colored sandstone or limestone, creating a warm, amber color palette. The composition of the facade is symmetrical and monumental, with the characteristic stepped form of the upper edge typical of Art Deco.

The central element of the composition is the entrance group with an elegant metal grill above the door, displaying a geometrized ornament with fan-shaped and floral motifs — typical elements of the Art Deco style. On both sides of the entrance are vertical windows that emphasize the upward aspiration of the composition.

The decorative reliefs in the upper part of the facade deserve special attention. The central relief depicts a stylized sun with radiating rays, which may symbolize progress and optimism — key ideas of the Art Deco era. On both sides of the central relief are symmetrical decorative panels with floral ornaments.

The lower part of the building is finished in a dark color, creating an effect of visual stability and contrasting with the light cladding of the upper part of the facade. Decorative planters are installed in front of the entrance, adding elegance to the entire composition.
