#4420. Art Nouveau Facade Doors with Stained Glass Berry Pattern

This magnificent example of door design represents a vivid specimen of the Art Nouveau style from the early 20th century. The doors are executed in the characteristic Art Nouveau manner with smooth, organic lines of wooden framing, creating a sense of movement and natural plasticity. The wooden arched structure of the door panel is divided into four sections, forming a harmonious composition.

Of particular note is the stained glass filling, where red berries (possibly cherries or rowan) with delicate green stems are depicted against an emerald-green background, creating a vibrant decorative effect. The wooden framing of the stained glass is made of warm reddish-brown wood with expressive texture that emphasizes the organic nature of the composition. The lower part of the doors is adorned with vertical wooden slats, creating a rhythmic transition to the base.

The doors are framed by a strict stone portal, creating an interesting contrast between the exquisite decorativeness of Art Nouveau and the restrained austerity of stone. This architectural element represents not just a functional entrance to the building, but a true work of decorative applied art, where the combination of materials, forms, and colors creates an expressive artistic image.
