Before us is a magnificent example of Art Nouveau architecture, showcasing the characteristic features of this early 20th century style. The façade of building No. 14 is distinguished by organic, flowing forms and rich floral decoration executed in patinated copper with a greenish hue.
The central element of the composition is an elegantly curved bay window with an arched top, framed by lush sculptural decoration in the form of stylized flowers and leaves. Above the window sits an impressive molded frieze with botanical motifs, creating the sensation that the building is being overtaken by living vegetation. The exquisite metal balustrade in front of the window repeats the flowing lines of Art Nouveau and harmoniously complements the overall composition.
The rich ornamentation of the upper part of the façade deserves special attention, where one can observe elements characteristic of Art Nouveau – symmetrical floral ornaments flanking the arch and wave-like decorative elements. The color scheme of the façade is built on the contrast between the light plaster of the walls and the rich patina of the copper decorative elements.
The upper window with blinds is also decorated with an elegant metal grille in the Art Nouveau style, emphasizing the integrity of the architectural concept. Inside the room, soft draperies of pinkish hue can be seen, adding a note of refined elegance and comfort to the façade.
