Before us stands an exquisite example of traditional Russian wooden architecture with richly decorated window frames. The facade of the wooden house is made of dark logs, creating a contrasting background for the intricate carvings. Three identical windows are framed with luxurious white nalichniki (decorative window surrounds) with elements of gilding, demonstrating the incredible craftsmanship of wood carvers.
Each window frame represents a true work of art with patterns characteristic of the Russian style. The upper part is decorated with an openwork kokoshnik (decorative head-piece) featuring floral motifs and elaborate elements. The side columns of the frames are adorned with geometric patterns and carved details. The lower part is also embellished with skillful carving featuring elements of traditional ornamentation.
The window frames are made of warm brown-toned wood, divided into several sections in a manner typical for traditional architecture. This approach to window design is not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional – allowing maximum use of natural light in a harsh climate.
The upper part of the facade is also decorated with ornamental carved elements, creating a unified composition with the window surrounds. This work demonstrates the highest level of folk craftsmanship and careful preservation of architectural traditions.
