Baroque Palace with Symmetrical Ochre Façade and French Garden

#4017. Baroque Palace with Symmetrical Ochre Façade and French Garden

The image showcases a magnificent example of Baroque architecture – a palace with a symmetrical façade painted in a characteristic ochre-yellow color with white architectural details. The building features a clear tripartite composition: a central body and two side pavilions connected by passages.

The central part of the façade is accentuated by a projection (risalit) and adorned with a classical triangular pediment with a decorative element in the middle, crowned with a small cross. The rhythmic arrangement of second-floor windows emphasizes the ceremonial character of the building. The windows have arched completions in the central section and rectangular shapes in the side sections.

The side pavilions are characterized by mansard roofs covered with red tiles and dormer windows. The entrance to the building is framed by a grand staircase, in front of which there is a small fountain surrounded by sculptures.

The palace is surrounded by a well-maintained landscape park in the French style with geometrically precise plantings – cone-shaped trimmed thujas, ornamental shrubs, and compositions. Classical statues are positioned around the perimeter of the area, harmoniously complementing the overall ensemble. An elegant gravel path encircles the central lawn, emphasizing the symmetry of the entire composition.
