Elegant Coastal Home with Classic Blue and White Facade

#3400. Elegant Coastal Home with Classic Blue and White Facade

The presented building is an excellent example of a modern interpretation of the classic American Cape Cod style with elements of Southern architecture. This two-story house features an elegant exterior with a mansard roof characteristic of this style.

The facade is finished in soft blue tones with contrasting white elements. What gives it special expressiveness is the combination of different types of cladding: horizontal siding on the main part of the walls and decorative shingles on certain sections of the upper floor. The roof is covered with natural brown shingles, creating a harmonious contrast with the main color of the building.

An important architectural element is the spacious porch with elegant white columns in classical style and wooden railings. The porch wraps around a significant portion of the first floor, providing a smooth transition between interior and exterior spaces. The entrance door is made of dark wood with small glass inserts, adding warmth and traditionality to the facade.

The window openings are executed in a classic style with white frames and traditional shutters on some windows. The symmetrical arrangement of windows on the second floor is balanced by a more free-flowing composition on the first. The landscape design featuring palm trees and coastal vegetation emphasizes the Southern character of the architecture, while the wooden deck with a relaxation area and water feature harmoniously complements the overall composition.
