#2747. Metal Facade: Modernist Gates with Floral Ornament

Before us is an exquisite example of artistic metalwork - decorative gates demonstrating the influence of Art Nouveau style with elements of Art Deco. The central composition of the gate is built around an expressive circular motif, which is elegantly divided into two leaves. The arched upper part of the gate creates a smooth, wave-like silhouette characteristic of early 20th century modernist design.

Particularly noteworthy is the floral ornament in the form of stylized flowers, resembling daisies, with a pronounced patinated blue-green hue that contrasts with the main dark gray color of the metal. These floral motifs are symmetrically arranged along the upper arc and at the nodal points of the composition, creating a rhythmic pattern.

The lower part of the gate is more massive and contains geometric ornaments with rectangular elements, providing visual stability to the structure. The combination of rounded, organic forms at the top with more rigid, structured elements at the bottom creates a harmonious balance. The vertical wrought iron bars connecting the decorative elements provide not only structural strength but also create an effect of translucency, allowing the greenery of the garden behind the gate to be seen, which enhances the natural integration of this architectural element into the surrounding landscape.
