Geometric Dualism: Modernizing a Standard Facade Through Pixel Graphics and a Contrasting Central Axis

#2735. Geometric Dualism: Modernizing a Standard Facade Through Pixel Graphics and a Contrasting Central Axis

The presented building demonstrates an interesting approach to the design of a multi-apartment residential house, where architectural expressiveness is achieved through a contrasting combination of geometric elements. The facade is divided into two main parts by a geometric composition: beige walls with an abstract ornament in warm orange-brown tones and a central vertical strip with a rhythmic triangular pattern in black and white.

The beige surface of the facade serves as a background for modular graphics in a pixel-art style, created from square and rectangular elements in various shades of terracotta, ochre, and umber. This technique gives the building a contemporary feel, despite its typical architectural form with a hipped roof covered with tiles.

The central part of the facade features a contrasting geometric pattern of repeating triangular elements, creating an effect of depth and texture. This vertical strip likely marks the location of the stairwell, functionally dividing the building while simultaneously serving as its dominant feature.

The rhythmic arrangement of windows is subordinated to the overall composition, and the single window with floral decorations on the second floor brings a lively accent to the geometrized facade. This project represents an interesting example of revitalizing a typical building through modern graphic solutions, making it a visually appealing and recognizable architectural object in the urban environment.
