Elegant Art Nouveau façade with allegorical sculptures and musical motifs

#2724. Elegant Art Nouveau façade with allegorical sculptures and musical motifs

Before us is an excellent example of Art Nouveau architecture from the early 20th century. The façade of the building demonstrates the characteristic combination of elegance and decorative richness typical of this style. The main light cream tone of the wall creates an elegant background for the rich sculptural decoration.

Compositionally, the façade is divided into three levels. The upper part is particularly notable for two sculptural female figures supporting a central decorative element above the window. These allegorical figures are a typical technique for Art Nouveau, giving the building a special sophistication.

In the central part of the façade, an elegant wrought-iron balcony with an openwork railing stands out, framed by vertical decorative elements with floral motifs. Of particular interest are the relief musical symbols — stylized lyres on both sides of the central windows, which may indicate the building's connection to musical culture.

The lower level is designed in a more restrained manner, with arched windows and mascarons characteristic of Art Nouveau, positioned between the consoles supporting the upper floors. The texture of the lower part of the façade contrasts with the smooth surface of the upper levels, creating an interesting interplay of textures.

The window frames are painted in a dark color, creating an expressive contrast with the light façade and emphasizing the rhythmic structure of the building. Overall, the façade represents a harmonious combination of architectural and sculptural elements, demonstrating a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail characteristic of the Art Nouveau era.
