Pink Catalan Art Nouveau Façade with Stained Glass Elements

#2576. Pink Catalan Art Nouveau Façade with Stained Glass Elements

This is a magnificent example of early 20th century modernist architecture with rich elements of Catalan Art Nouveau. The building showcases a vibrant pink façade that immediately draws attention with its unusual color scheme. The façade has a symmetrical composition with a central entrance framed by decorative arches.

The upper floor is adorned with a richly ornamental frieze featuring stained glass windows and plant motifs characteristic of Art Nouveau. The pointed arches with decorative inlays on the second level add particular expressiveness. The windows are framed with golden stone elements, creating a striking contrast with the pink masonry.

Balconies with elegant wrought iron railings add depth and volume to the façade, while their arrangement creates a rhythmic composition. The decorative elements between floors – ceramic panels with floral and geometric patterns – are typical of Catalan Modernism and reminiscent of the works of Gaudí and his contemporaries.

The composition of the façade is completed by a decorative cornice with crenellations and vegetation on the roof, adding a vertical accent to the building and emphasizing its monumentality despite its relatively small size.
