Moorish Facade with "Tree of Life" Floral Mosaic

#2391. Moorish Facade with "Tree of Life" Floral Mosaic

The image shows an exquisite decorative element of a facade, designed as an arched niche with a mosaic panel. The architectural solution combines traditions of Eastern architecture, evident in the characteristic Moorish-style arch shape (horseshoe arch).

The panel is executed in mosaic technique with a predominant green background. The central motif represents a stylized tree of life with ornamental floral elements. The composition is symmetrical, featuring three circular groups of white flowers in the upper part and numerous decorative elements arranged along the central "trunk" of orange-brown color. At the base of the tree, multicolored floral motifs are placed, including white, burgundy, and blue flowers.

The arched niche is framed by intricately carved stone ornament with plant motifs, which harmoniously complements the mosaic panel. The stone carving is executed in beige stone, creating a soft contrast with the vibrant mosaic inside the niche. The upper part of the framing is decorated with a decorative element featuring a floral ornament, giving completeness to the entire composition.

This architectural element represents an excellent example of the synthesis of arts, where architecture, sculpture (in the form of carved framing), and decorative applied art (mosaic) create a unified artistic image, characteristic of Art Nouveau or Neo-Moorish style.
