Neo-Gothic Door Portal with Carved Facade and Double Door

#2364. Neo-Gothic Door Portal with Carved Facade and Double Door

This is a magnificent example of historical architecture in the Neo-Gothic style. The entrance portal features a double wooden door crafted with remarkable attention to detail. The door is decorated with six ornamental panels featuring characteristic Gothic pointed arches and quatrefoils. A twisted column runs down the center, dividing the door into two equal parts.

The facade is framed by elegant stonework with an arched portal. Above the door sits a graceful archivolt with decorative carvings featuring floral motifs. The lateral parts of the portal are adorned with capitals featuring intricate carvings. Particularly noteworthy are the round black metal door knockers installed on the lower panels, which harmoniously complement the overall composition.

Natural elements in the form of green plants on both sides of the portal create a picturesque contrast with the warm brown tone of the door and the sandy color of the stone cladding. Unfortunately, traces of vandalism in the form of red graffiti are visible on the lower part of the door, disrupting the historical integrity of this architectural element.
