Exquisite Art Nouveau Facade: Double-leaf Door No.106 with Artistic Ironwork Elements

#2355. Exquisite Art Nouveau Facade: Double-leaf Door No.106 with Artistic Ironwork Elements

Before us is a magnificent example of Art Nouveau architecture, demonstrating an organic combination of functionality and decorative sophistication. This entrance door number 106 represents a true masterpiece of carpentry and artistic forging.

The facade is designed in the characteristic Art Nouveau flowing, fluid manner. The door portal is framed by an elegant stone frame of light-colored stone with meticulously crafted stucco work. The upper part of the portal is adorned with an expressive floral ornament in the form of a stylized heart-shaped element from which symmetrical acanthus leaves spread out – a typical motif of Art Nouveau's organic aesthetic.

The door itself is double-leafed, made of polished wood in a warm honey-brown hue. Its composition is based on oval forms – each leaf is divided into two sections with curved lines creating a dynamic pattern. Behind the glass inserts, one can see exquisite wrought-iron grilles with intricate ornaments, demonstrating virtuoso craftsmanship in blacksmithing.

On both sides of the door are semi-circular lunette windows with decorative forging, organically continuing the overall composition. The architect managed to create a harmonious unity of wood, glass, metal, and stone, where each element emphasizes the plasticity and naturalness of forms so characteristic of the Art Nouveau style.
